At all costs.
A endless survival game where you’re trapped in the woods with a dying campfire.
Enemies rush in from the dark—feed the fire, shoot embers, and survive as long as you can.
If the flame goes out, you go out.
How to Play

Took 2 hours 55 minutes to build this. First game jam as well.

Install instructions
Windows

Scroll up and click Download.

Choose the file ending with .zip.

When the download finishes, right-click → Extract All.

Open the extracted folder.

Double-click The Last Ember.exe to start playing.
⚠ If Windows shows a warning (“Unknown publisher”), click More info → Run anyway.
This is normal for indie games.
Press Esc to quit game.
Web Version (Play in Browser)

Click Run Game on the page.

Wait for it to load (10–20 seconds depending on your internet).
-
No download needed.
Troubleshooting
-
If the game doesn’t open, make sure all files stay together in the same folder.
Do not move the .exe out of the folder. -
If the WebGL version doesn’t load, refresh the page or try Firefox/Chrome.
